(WXIA) -- Monkey Joe's locations near Atlanta will host "Jump for Tripp" - a fundraiser to help Tripp Halstead and his family.
Young Tripp has been fighting through surgeries and recoveries since October 2012, when a tree limb fell on his head, causing severe brain injury.

As reported by a spokeswoman for the restaurant, Monkey Joe's has set "Jump for Tripp" for Sunday, May 19. Of sales made that day, the restaurant will donate 10 percent to the Halstead family, which will go to Tripp's hospital bills and recovery expenses.
Monkey Joe's locations taking part in "Jump for Tripp" include those in Cumming, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Marietta, Morrow, Newnan, Roswell, Tucker and Warner Robbins.
Over 600,000 social media users are keeping track on Tripp's recovery on the boy's Facebook page.
