Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - The Atlantic Coast Conference revealed the five-game schedule for each of the first three seasons of its agreement with Notre Dame football.
In 2014, the first year of the agreement, the Irish will play at home against Louisville, North Carolina and Wake Forest with the road games at Florida State and Syracuse.
In 2015, Notre Dame makes trips to Clemson, Pittsburgh and Virginia while taking hosting responsibilities against Boston College and Georgia Tech.
The 2016 season will feature home games against Duke, Miami and Virginia Tech with road tilts against NC State and Syracuse.
"The football partnership between the ACC and Notre Dame will not only enhance our league's already ambitious football schedules but also will provide terrific fan excitement," ACC commissioner John Swofford said.
The partnership is part of Notre Dame athletic's overall transition into the conference, though football will remain independent. The Irish will shift from playing three home games and two away and two home and three away from year to year while playing every team in the ACC at least once every three seasons.
