MARTINEZ, GA -- Urban Outfitters will open a customer care center in Martinez, Ga., that will employee 200 when the facility opens Aug. 1, and up to 400 jobs within the next five years, reports the Morris News Service.

Employees at the site will serve the retailer's "direct business" segment, fielding calls from customers placing orders and seeking similar customer service assistance, Morris News Service reported.

The Philadelphia-based company has stores in the U.S., Canada and Europe. The company owns the Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain and BHLDN brands.
