An employee at the Ronald McDonald House told police that around 10 a.m. Friday morning, a man came in and asked to speak to someone there, but when the employee returned, the man was gone; as was her wallet, cash and credit cards.

He was wearing white shoes and a dark shirt under a light T-shirt or vest.

Wednesday, Perry Police Captain Heath Dykes told 13WMAZ the man is 54-year-old Antonio Hornsby, who appears to be working his way up Interstate 75.

Hornsby also allegedly hit businesses in Cordele, Byron and in Bibb County, including stealing wallets from two Perry businesses.

Dykes says Hornsby is wanted for business thefts in Athens-Clarke County and Henry County as well.
