ATLANTA -- Will Packer's movies are known to be packed with action and drama and there are those romantic comedies that leave you wanting more.

"I knew this was something that I was passionate about," said film producer and co-owner of Rainforest Films. "And, as long as I said I could do it - it didn't matter what anybody else said."

It's no secret - Packer is at the top of his game.

Now, some 20 years later, we celebrate his success along with Atlanta based Rainforest films.

"I gotta bring it to Atlanta," Packer said. "Atlanta is home."

"Who is the man behind these big huge films and all of this success?" 11Alive's DeMarco Morgan questioned.

"That's a good question," said Packer. "One I ask myself quite often sir," he laughed.

"I am somebody that believes in myself and I think you have to have that self confidence."

Confidence he needs to thrive in the filming industry.

"I questioned am I good at this. Will I ever be successful?" he said. "But I never used the words give up!"

Now, he's credited for producing a number of successful movies including two box office hits that grossed more than 100 million dollars in one year.

"I'm in Hollywood - you know I believe in the perfect ending."
Morgan stopped by his Edgewood Avenue office in downtown Atlanta.

"It was built in 1906 - that's right an important year..you're a Kappa - so you wouldn't know nothing about that," Parker shares his office space with business partner Rob Hardy.

Packer is doing what he loves and he's paving the way for others who wish to join the industry. He and Hardy started their partnerships as student at Florida A&M University.

And they had no idea that their dreams of making it big would one day become a reality.
Packer's middle-class upbringing has kept him grounded and he says it's a major attribute to his success, Packer says his parents taught him "don't ever think that you are better than anybody else and that has always stuck with me."
