ATLANTA -- Wednesday is Tornado Safety Day in Georgia. It's part of the state's Severe Weather Awareness Week.
To help prepare for storms like the one that devastated Adairsville and Calhoun last week, Georgians are encouraged to prepare a home safety plan, practice a drill and assemble a ready kit.
