Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Michael Snaer finished with 15 points, including the game-winning layup with less than a second remaining to lead the Florida State Seminoles to a thrilling 56-54 victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Atlantic Coast Conference action at McCamish Pavilion.

Snaer has made a habit of knocking down buzzer-beaters of late, having also done so in Florida State's (13-9, 5-4 ACC) last two wins over Maryland on Jan. 30 and Clemson on Jan. 24.

Kiel Turpin and Boris Bojanovsky both scored 10 points for the Seminoles, while Okaro White grabbed 10 rebounds.

For Georgia Tech (12-9, 2-7), Brandon Reed and Daniel Miller led the way with nine points apiece. The Yellow Jackets are losers of seven of their last nine since ACC play began.

Florida State began the game on a 13-0 run, but Georgia Tech went into halftime holding a 27-26 lead, as it shot 40 percent from the field in the opening 20 minutes, including 4-of-9 from 3-point range.

The teams spent the majority of the second half within one possession of one another. After Snaer drilled a pair of free-throws with 1:56 left to extend the Seminoles' lead to 54-51, Mfon Udofia responded with a 3-pointer to tie the game less than a minute later. After empty possessions by both sides, Florida State held the ball for one last shot, and Snaer came up big in the clutch once again.

Florida State was able to overcome a game-high 16 turnovers by shooting 50 percent from the field on the night.
