PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Graduated compression company SIGVARIS and Atlanta Trek are holding a bike ride and fall festival to help build Camp Southern Ground.

The event will start in Peachtree City at SIGVARIS, on October 27, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

According to a SIGVARIS spokesperson, Camp Southern Ground will provide a modern facility for children with typical and special needs, ages 7 - 17. It will cover 500 acres.

Camp Southern Ground is a project of Grammy winner Zac Brown, who wants to make a place where kids can go to learn life skills and receive growth encouragement, regardless of their abilities, socio-economic background, race or religion.

Three different bike rides will run, giving participants an option of riding for 35, 65 or 100 miles in Fayette, Coweta and surrounding counties. The fest will include family-friendly activities of crafts, games, music, a Halloween costume contest and pumpkin painting.
