ATLANTA -- After weeks of falling gas prices, the average price at the pump climbed 3.7 cents last week to $3.61 in metro Atlanta, according to GasBuddy.com.
"There were temporary issues on the wholesale market that caused prices to rise early last week," GasBuddy Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan said. "They've dropped off again."

He said he expects gas prices to drop again by next week.
"It's pretty quiet in the Gulf Coast," DeHaan said.
The national average fell 2.8 cents last week to $3.77. DeHaan said the drop was largely due to a dip in California gas prices, which have been especially high.
