Jack Boys found guilty

ATLANTA -- Three members of the Jack Boys gang were convicted on Thursday afternoon in a Fulton County courtroom. 

A jury found 'The Jack Boys', an infamous street gang that wrecked havoc on the streets of notably 'quaint' intown neighborhoods in 2010, guilty of charges ranging from murder to armed robbery, rape and kidnapping. 

The members, Tamario Wise, Robert Veal and Fernandez Whatley were accused of the November 2010 murder of 39-year-old bartender Charles Boyer in Virginia Highland and the rape of a Grant Park woman.

According to police, the trio racked up about 90 criminal charges during a two month crime spree. 

Another co-defendant, Raphael Cross testified against the trio and will be tried at a later date. 

According to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office:

"Tamario Wise is facing as many as 14 life sentences plus 460-years in prison. Robert Veal could be sentenced to as many as eight life sentences plus 140-years in prison, while Fernandez Whatley, who was not charged with murder or rape, could face a maximum of 90 years in prison."

The trio will be sentenced at a later date.
