ATLANTA -- A 23-year-old man died after falling from the balcony of his Atlanta condo Wednesday morning.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, fell from the 18th floor of the City Heights Condominiums on Ralph McGill Boulevard.
Atlanta Police spokesman Capt. Adam Lee III said nobody saw the victim fall. The man's roommate told investigators that she saw him go out on the balcony to smoke a cigarette at around 1:45 a.m., but she didn't see him go over the railing.
Lee said the man fell into a courtyard area where the condo's residents walk their dogs.
Police are now trying to determine whether the man jumped or fell from the balcony.
