Early voting in Georgia (File Photo)
(WXIA) -- With the November general elections only 53 days away, County Board of Elections offices across Georgia are gearing up for the big day. And that means possible temporary jobs.
The Help Desk has been working to find those opportunities and we discovered that in some counties, a need does exist.
Poll workers are needed in certain counties to handle duties for the election on November 6.
Those workers will operate polling places on Election Day and help voters through the voting process. Poll workers must attend one, or more madnatory training classes before working at that poll. They must also provide their own transportation.
