Police had been looking for two suspects in the shooting after surveillance video showed them leaving the restaurant.
A witness had told police that two men had been involved in an argument at the lounge before pulling out guns and firing several shots. Police said Thrasher had been shot seven times and died at the scene.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said Thrasher had been in his office hours before her death to discuss her testimony in an upcoming murder trial.
Police said two other suspects remain at large in the shooting. A $12,000 reward has been set in the case.
