Kennesaw State opens expanded residential complex

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Kennesaw State will open a $26 million residential complex expansion for upper-class students on Thursday, August 16.

According to Kennesaw State, this will be their official opening of University Place II, an apartment-style housing complex that consists of 451 bedrooms, in-room and outdoor Wi-Fi and a multipurpose room.

That night, there will be a free concert for students at the ampitheater at 7 p.m. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be at 9:30 a.m. and tours of University Place II will start at 10 a.m.

The tours will show atudents around the ampitheater, courtyard, multipurpose room and the south-end Residence Life office.
