SNELLVILLE, Ga. -- It will be weeks before Aimee Copeland can return to her family's home in Snellville, but construction crews are already getting it ready for her.

They began retrofitting the home on Tuesday. They want to make it fully accessible for the 24-year-old University of West Georgia graduate student who lost her leg, remaining foot and both hands to flesh eating bacteria.

Copeland was just released from Doctors Hospital in Augusta on Monday. She's expected to spend the rest of the summer at a residential rehabilitation facility.
