ATLANTA (WXIA) - True Entertainment, the production company behind Real Housewives of Atlanta is now looking at Atlanta's religious community for its upcoming reality series, Preacher Wives.

Cable network TLC, which already airs reality fare like the controversial Sister Wives and Toddlers & Tiaras, is partnering with True Entertainment to develop the new series, "which will follow Atlanta area churches' first ladies in their work with their congregations and at home."

"We are excited to work with TLC to profile the lives of these strong-willed women," True Entertainment president Steven Weinstock said in a statement. "With most praise in religious communities directed towards male preachers, we are thrilled to give these remarkable ladies the spotlight they crave and deserve."

There is no word on which religious first ladies of Atlanta would join the cast of Preacher Wives, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, a projected airdate has not been announced yet.
