Do you have girls with long hair? You know the problem of tangled hair that is difficult to brush out.
Brushing their tangled hair can make Ellie and Tessie cry real tears.
"It gets tangled and I can't brush it through all the way," said Ellie.
The Tangle Teezer claims it's a miracle brush that detangles hair gently and pain free. This British import is sold locally at Sally Beauty Supply for $10.
The girl's mom, Heidi, discovered it on an overseas trip.
"We actually heard about it in England," she said. "We went to Scotland for a wedding and we went to a hairdresser and I was laughing because I said 'good luck doing her hair' because she screams every time you do her hair. And the girl said 'have you not used a Tangle Teezer?' I didn't know what it was."
Heidi wasted no time finding a couple of the brushes and her kids have been grateful ever since.
"It gets through the hair but it doesn't hurt," said Tessie.
The Tangle Teezer is supposed to work on all types of hair - children's hair, afros, synthetic hair, wet or dry.
"I find that it takes longer than using a regular brush," said Heidi. "You have to do it more times but it doesn't hurt and it doesn't make her cry."
It might take longer but it's easy enough that the girls don't mind doing it themselves.
"They do it on their own," Heidi said. "Whereas before I was always telling them 'you've got to brush your hair.' Now they just go ahead and do it."
Before long the girls hair is smooth and shiny. Ellie and Tessie say skip the tears and get a Tangle Teezer.
They give it two thumbs up.
