DECATUR, GA - DeKalb police have identified three suspects in the shooting death and armed robbery of an armored car courier in front of a Toco Hills Kroger store on March 15.
Two of the suspects were arrested in Gwinnett County Wednesday in connection with three armored car robberies there, dating to last fall.
Ashley Henderson, 27, and Stacy Dooley, 34, along with an unnamed adult male, have been named suspects in the murder. In addition, Quinton Booker, 34, was also arrested Wednesday in Gwinnett County in connection with the armored car robberies there.
DeKalb police have connected all four men to a January 21 armored car robbery at a Wells Fargo ATM on Redan Road. In that case, DeKalb detectives signed warrants charging the four with armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Another individual, Veronica Bullard, 32, was arrested by Marietta police Wednesday in connection with the string of armored car and ATM robberies. Bullard was an employee of Dunbar Armored. Gwinnett police said they plan to charge her with at least one count of party to the crime of armed robbery.
Gwinnett police said one other suspect in the string of armored car robberies, Edward Thornton, 28, remains at large. He has been charged with two counts of armed robbery. Police said he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Gwinnett Police at 770-513-5300.
