Bright Meteor Lights up Atlanta Skies

The Tellus Science Museum captured video of a meteor that entered the atmosphere at 9:18 Monday night. It broke up in 3 seconds at a height of 25 miles above Woodstock, Alabama. It was 15 times brighter than Venus. Tellus scientists believe it was baseball-sized, and likely a comet fragment. If you captured any photos of the meteor, upload them to our gallery and we'll use them on air!
