DORAVILLE, Ga. -- Georgia-Pacific will shutter its Doraville corrugated packaging facility in April, cutting about 90 jobs.

"Despite our best efforts, we are not able to make this a competitive plant and production can be absorbed at our other facilities in the region," the company said in a statement.

Georgia-Pacific employs more than 3,000 people in metro Atlanta and has more than 6,000 employees in Georgia. In total, it employs 35,000.
