COBB COUNTY, Ga. -- Frozen power lines and toppled trees have knocked out electricity to many neighborhoods. Reports of potential damage from the storm have sent dozens of tree service personnel to the area.

Crews worked to clean up the fallen trees on Thursday.

In Kennesaw, a large tree fell on a home on Woodland Drive. A woman and her young daughter were in a bedroom when a massive oak crashed through the roof around 10:30 a.m. Thankfully, no one was injured. The woman and her daughter are now staying with friends.

Experts say the tree problem would continue as the region continues to thaw out from Wednesday's ice storm.
