ATLANTA - Some Atlanta commuters say they're flying blind when it comes to left turns off of Northside Parkway.
Patty Pate has to make the left from Northside onto Morore's Mill Road to take her child to school. She often sits for two or three cycles of the light as other drivers attempt the turn with a tight grip on the steering wheel.
"You either have to dart through two lanes of traffic or turn after the light's turned red, so it's hard either way," said Pate.
Rush hour volume, a hill, and a curb make it difficult oncoming traffic. Patty wants a turn arrow.
A spokesperson for the city's Public Works Department has agreed to have an engineer take a look and possibly join with the state DOT to look for a solution.
