(WXIA) -- Metro Atlanta residents are celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday in many ways Monday.

Ambassador Andrew Young will join King's family for a special service at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where bells will be rung for peace.

Hosea Feed the Hungry will hold its big MLK Day dinner beginning at 10 a.m. at the Georgia International Convention Center. Organizers expect to feed more than 10,000 families.

At 1:45 p.m., an MLK march and rally will start at Peachtree and Baker streets, and will end at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site on Auburn Avenue.

More than 3,000 volunteers with participate in Hands On Atlanta's Day of Service at 60 sites across the metro. Projects include cleanup at City of Refuge and landscaping at Chastain Memorial Park.
