WOODSTOCK, Ga. -- Two teenagers were arrested in Cherokee County Tuesday morning for breaking into cars.

Cherokee County Sheriff's Lt. Jay Baker said multiple car break-ins were reported in the Towne Lake Hills East subdivision off Towne Lake Parkway in Woodstock.

While interviewing victims, investigators noticed a suspicious car driving through the neighborhood and pulled it over.

Baker said two teenagers were in the car. Both were suspects in the car break-ins and were taken into custody.

Eric Mitcham, 18, was charged with three counts of entering auto and is being held in the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center on $17,100 bond.

The second suspect, a 16 year old, also faces three charges of entering auto and is being held in the Marietta Youth Detention Center. His name was not released because of his age.

Baker said Cherokee County residents should remember to never leave their car doors unlocked and always remove valuables from vehicles.
