WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (AP) -- The Bibb County Coroner has identified two men who were killed in a small plane crash in middle Georgia.

Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones says 71-year-old Julius Gilreath, of Greenville, S.C., and 58-year-old Anthony Cabeza, of Greer, S.C., were killed when a single engine Piper PA-32 crashed Monday night.

Jones says the two were pronounced dead in a wooded area about a mile north of the Robins Air Force Base.

Federal Aviation Administration Spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen says the flight departed with two people on board from Apalachicola Municipal Airport in Apalachicola, Fla., and was headed for Greenville Downtown Airport in Greenville, S.C.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
