CECIL, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities in south Georgia say a crash involving two semi-trucks left one driver dead and another hospitalized.

Officials say a semi-truck heading south on I-75 rear ended another semi-truck Wednesday in Cecil - about 17 miles north of Valdosta. The truck's cab was crushed on impact and the driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the truck that was rear ended was taken to the South Georgia Medical Center. Information on the extent of his injuries was not immediately available.

Georgia State Patrol Sgt. Stan Stalnaker said authorities are trying to determine the cause of the accident and the identity of the driver who died in the accident has not been released.
