SAVANNAH, Ga. -- A south Georgia man has pleaded guilty in his wife's July 2011 stabbing death.
Kenneth Edward Sanders pleaded guilty to murder Tuesday and was sentenced to life in prison in the death of 28-year-old Nancy Bruin Sanders.
Authorities say the 48-year-old Port Wentworth man stabbed his wife in front of her three young children July 23, 2011. The woman's daughter alerted a neighbor, who called police.
Kenneth Sanders threatened to commit suicide when police arrived and was subdued with a Taser before being taken into custody.
