1 to 2 inches of rain fell through Northern Georgia Sunday and Monday thanks to a slow moving cold front. The front continues to push east and cooler drier air is moving in behind it. We will have mostly sunny skies this afternoon, but highs will only be near 60. A ridge of high pressure will bring in warmer air Wednesday ahead of the next front bringing more rain and thunderstorms Thursday. Temps will be much colder for Christmas Weekend.
