PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. -- Paulding County teacher Jack Talley turned himself into the Paulding County Detention Center on Monday afternoon.
Paulding County's Crimes Against Children Division had investigated and interviewed witnesses from a case on October 8, where Tally allegedly restrained a Pre-K student inappropriately at Northside Elementary School. Police said the child, 4, had made some type of outburst.
Other employees of PCDS saw the incident and told school administrators, who contacted the family of the child and CAC Detectives.
Talley was charged with Simple Battery when he turned himself in, but was released later that day on a $1,300 bond.
Police said it is not yet determined whether Talley will be subjected to any administrative repercussions from PCSD, and any inquiries will have to be directed toward the school district.
