ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police are interviewing the roommate of a woman found dead in her home early Tuesday.
Officers were called to the home on Andrews Street NW just after 1 a.m., where they found the body of a woman in her mid-30s.
The woman's roommate told police the victim fell out of bed and died.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner called to the location found what is being described as some trauma to the body, and police say there are many inconsistencies in the roommate's story. He is being held for questioning.
Police say they are treating the case as a homicide pending results of an autopsy.
The victim and roommate's names have not yet been released.
