ATLANTA -- Friday's Wild Card playoff between the Braves and Cardinals begins at 5:07 p.m., but fans heading to the Ted will want to head over early for several reasons.

1) Traffic is going to be a beast all around Turner Field. So the Braves recommend taking MARTA to the game. The Braves shuttle begins running 90 minutes before the first pitch. Fans who want to arrive earlier can take bus routes 32, 49 or 55 to the ballpark. All of those buses leave from MARTA's Five Points station.

2) For fans who prefer to drive, 11Alive's Elle Duncan suggests taking Memorial Drive to Boulevard, Hill or Cherokee. Heading southbound, all three of those streets dead end at Atlanta Avenue, which ends at Hank Aaron Drive.

3) Fans who haven't already prepaid for parking at Turner Field, won't be able to park at an official lot. All spaces have already been allocated, according to an update from the team's front office Wednesday.

4) The first 45,000 fans to arrive will receive free foam tomohawks.
