ATLANTA -- Fulton County Schools will hold a conference for parents who are transitioning their students with disabilities from high school in late October.

From 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., the fair will help answer questions parents might have while their students in special education classes graduate and transition from high school. According to Fulton County Schools, many parents may worry about the future, and the conference will help them understand the process.

The fair is set to take place at Mercer University, in the Atlanta Administration and Conference Center. On site, there will be professionals to address options, agency representatives and vendors who will provide information on adult services.

Parents are asked to register by October 19. The cost of the fair is $10 per family. The registration form, and check payable to Interagency Transition Council should be mailed to IATC c/o FOCUS, 3825 Presidential Parkway, Suite 103, Atlanta, GA 30340.
