Georgia's Pre-K program turns 20, Deals celebrate at local school

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Gov. Nathan Deal and First Lady Sandra Deal will visit High Point Elementary on Tuesday in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Georgia's Pre-K program.

During their visit, the Deals will read to students in honor of Georgia's pre-K week as well as the anniversary. They will arrive to High Point in Sandy Springs at 1 p.m.

Also taking part in the celebration are Pat Willis, Executive Director of Voices for Georgia's Children, Dr. Robert Avossa, Fulton County Schools Superintendent and High Point Principal Lisa Nash.
