MILTON, Ga. -- A unanimous vote from Milton's City Council to approve the fiscal year budget 2013 will lead to new projects for the city's sidewalks, parks and roads.

The September 17 vote favored the $20.5 million budget, allowing the city to move forward with projects that align with the Strategic Plan, according to Jason Wright of the City of Milton.

"The ability to spend this money on needed projects is a result of smart budgeting," City Manager Chris Lagerbloom said.
