ATLANTA -- Samiqua Martin of Newnan won $250,000 from the Georgia Lottery by playing a new instant game.

The mother of three teenagers bought her winning ticket from the Marathon Food Mart on Highway 34 E. in Newnan while on an errand with her olderst son to buy contact lenses.

"I got in the car and scratched it off," Martin said. "I had to catch my breath."

Martin, 35, has been saving money to send her three sons, ages 12, 14 and 16 to college. She also plans to purchase a new home and car.
