DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. -- West Georgia Technical College will hold a session on September 14 to offer free GED testing to the public at the Douglas campus.

According to WGTC, over 1 million Georgia adults have no high school diploma. They believe that by passing the GED, people are more likely to get higher paying jobs.

They are offering opportunities to take a practice test, free of charge. Staff will be on hand at the practice session, to explain what is needed to take the practice exam, and the sign up to take the GED.

The practice session will last from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m.
