ATLANTA, Ga. -- Join the residents of East Atlanta for the creation of the East Lake Urban Farm.

Community members are invited to contribute to planting at the East Lake Community Learning Garden which will be located at 56 Second Avenue in southeast Atlanta.

The Southeastern Horticultural Society and East Lake Farmers Market have contributed to this garden, as well as a Putting Prevention to Work grant from the DeKalb County Board of Health.

Organizers say the new farm will "help increase the amount of fresh organic produce available to the community and support healthy lifestyles."
