LONDON -- The 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver are known as the greenest Games in history.

But London hopes to take that title, and the city has gone to great lengths to encourage sustainability during this year's Olympics.

Chesley McNeil caught up with some of the people responsible for turning 500 acres of toxic wasteland in East London into the beautiful green Olympic Park.

Venue buildings used during the Games are powered by wind and solar energy, and are designed to collect water. Recycling cans can also be found throughout the park.
