SNELLVILLE, Ga. -- The Chick-fil-A restaurant at 2932 Main Street holds a fundraiser Monday evening for Snellville native Aimee Copeland.
From 5-8p.m., 10% of sales will go toward Copeland's medical expenses as she battles a flesh-eating disease.
Copeland, 24, graduated from South Gwinnett High School and is currently a graduate student at the University of West Georgia.
There will be live music and door prizes throughout the event.
The grand prize-winner will receive free Chick-fil-A for six months (26 Chick-fil-A Meal coupons).
"It's amazing how the Snellville community has rallied around Aimee and her story," said Chick-fil-A franchise Operator Colby Cameron. "Aimee is such a strong young woman, and we hope everyone will come out in full force to support her and her family."
