ELLIJAY, Ga. -- The most popular fake news show made its way to Georgia this week.

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart came to find the most adamant supporter of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney -- and they found him in Ellijay.

"I'm Joe McCutchen, a strong supporter of Mitt Romney," the outspoken man told The Daily Show correspondent Al Madrigal (video embedded below).

"We'd like to make Ellijay the number one Romney town in the world," McCutchen told Madrigal.

The Daily Show is a popular program on Comedy Central.  The often controversial show and its host, Jon Stewart, regularly mock politicians, the media and the absurd.

"I think Mitt Romney is, by far, the best candidate," McCutchen told Madrigal in a segment entitled "Full of Mitt."

The Daily Show's visit to Ellijay in mid-January was reported by 11Alive's Doug Richards who spotted the crew at Poole's BBQ.
