ATLANTA -- Fulton County residents are eligible for a new program to help qualified families pay utility bills.

The Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority (FACAA) has funds available from February 1 through March 15 -- or until funds are exhausted.

Anyone interested will have to call FACAA at (404) 320-0166 to set an appointment to apply for the program. Income guideline information can be found online at http://www.facaa.org/.

There are several locations where individuals can submit an application for assistance --

* East Atlanta residents can visit the DeKalb-Atlanta Human Services Center, 30 Warren Street, Atlanta, GA 30317, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

* North Fulton residents can visit the Pleasant Hill Community Center, 725 Pleasant Hill Street, Roswell, GA 30075, Wednesdays only from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
