This week there are Halloween candy displays in stores everywhere,  but even when bags of candy are on sale, they can be pricey.

Some of the best deals are at drugstores this year, especially when factoring in savings from store reward programs and coupons. For example, Rite Aid offers store credit called Up Rewards on various items each week. Currently there is a reward on candy. "This week if you purchase $15.00 worth of Hershey's candy, you get Up Rewards worth a $5.00  coupon on your next purchase," said store manager John Strother.

Atlanta.momslikeme.com and Coupons.com also have printable coupons for bags of Halloween candy.

The blog, MyAtlantaMommy.com features a list of coupons that are available on Halloween candy.

Costume markdowns have already begun. RiteAid has some marked 50 percent off and Strother said they will go lower after Halloween if any are left.

Consignment stores also have good deals on costumes. Sweet Repeats on Miami Circle in Buckhead has a good selection of small children's costumes. Buycostumes.com has five items that are only $5 every day.

For pumpkins, many families like to go on an annual outing to a pumpkin farm. FieldTripsWithSue.com has a list of area farms.

Here are two other good deals on pumpkins: Whole Foods Market has medium size pumpkins on sale three for $13.

At Pike Nursery, pumpkins are sale for $16 for as many pumpkins as you can carry.
