ATLANTA (AP) -- A lawsuit filed in a Los Angeles court Wednesday
accuses Atlanta televangelist Creflo Dollar of stealing a spiritual
text message business concept, then marketing the business to his worldwide audience for millions of dollars in profit.

The lawsuit by Devone Lawson of Marina del Rey, California,
seeks more than $10 million.

Lawson claims that beginning in 2004, he spent a year working
with Dollar's World Changers Church International on a service that would send daily inspirational text messages to church members.

In the suit, Lawson claims the ministry formed a separate
company to launch a similar "Word On the Go" text messaging
service in 2006.

A spokeswoman for Dollar acknowledged receipt of an e-mail
message seeking comment but did not immediately respond.
