The World Health Organization has told its member nations it is declaring a swine flu pandemic -- the first global flu epidemic in 41 years.
MEXICO CITY -- Mexico City restaurants are now ordered to serve only takeout because of concerns about swine flu.
The Interior Secretary of Mexico City says all restaurants are prohibited from serving customers inside their establishments.
The move is aimed to prevent people from gathering in close quarters and spreading the virus.
The mayor of Mexico City has also ordered gyms, sports clubs, swimming pools, pool halls, theaters, zoos and museums closed.
So far, the swine flu virus has killed 152 people in Mexico.
