ATLANTA -- For Holly Beth, reading is more than just a pastime. But like most people who use reading glasses, she doesn't wear them all the time.
A new product called Page Brite offers a unique alternative to glasses. It promises to make reading a whole lot easier.
Holly Beth decides to try it out. Her first reaction is that it works well for people who are on the go.
"Say you're on a plane and the guy next to you is snoring or sleeping. This would be perfect," she says.
But Holly quickly realizes the Page Brite only works when held horizontally and isn't designed for bigger books.
"I can't hold it vertical because it doesn't get the entire page in," she says. "Maybe if I was using a smaller book."
The Page Brite also promises to light up the entire page, but Holly discovers otherwise.
Overall, it seems the product does not live up to Holly's expectation for glasses-free reading. She gives it two thumbs down.
