ATLANTA -- After eating potato chips, you usually have to roll up the end of the bag. Sometimes you also have to clip it.
However, a new gadget called the Eurosealer is supposed to seal bags tight.
At first, Scott is interested, saying it looks "pretty high tech" compared to a standard chip clip.
Scott tries the Eurosealer. It seems to use a small heating pad to mold the sides together. He takes the product and drags it across the top of the bag, melting the opening closed.
The Eurosealer comes with an attachment for reopening the bag. However, Scott isn't impressed by it.
"I like the good old fashioned scissors for this," he says.
Scott tries the product on a couple different bags. One of the biggest problems is that the Eurosealer melts through some of them.
"Yeah, I went really slow, thinking it might work better," he says.
Also, the seal isn't as airtight as the product claims it would be.
However, Scott doesn't completely write it off. He gives the Eurosealer one thumb up and one thumb down, saying, "I like it. Nothing is going to be perfect."
