Black & Decker Home Citrus Juicer

For a healthy start your day, you can hardly beat a fresh squeezed glass of cold orange juice.  A single glass contains 100 percent of your recommended daily dose of vitamin C. Plus when you squeeze it yourself it's more nutritious and tastes better than the pasteurize juice.

For less than $20, Black and Decker CJ-625 Home Citrus Juicer claims it can make easy work of whipping up this tasty treat.

Jackie likes the idea of fresh juice but not if it's a lot of trouble.

Luckily all she has to do is cut her oranges in half and press down on the juicer.

The two juicing cones accommodate a variety of citrus fruit from lemons to grapefruit and extracts the maximum amount of juice.
There's an adjustable pulp control so you can get as little or as much pulp as you want.

"This adjustment if you look in here you can see the little holes where the juice is going through that is how it determines if it's a little pulp or a lot of pulp," said Jackie.

The pitcher holds up to 34 ounces of juice and has a drip free pouring spout.

The unit comes apart for easy cleaning. However it is not dish washer safe. The cord wraps in the base making storage compact. Jackie is impressed.

"It's small," she said. "It's not going to take up a lot of cupboard space. I can pull the cord out and put it around here. It's all plastic parts that come apart super easy so it's going to be really easy to clean."

The Black and Decker Home Citrus Juicer is sold on-line and at a variety of discount and department stores . We found one locally at Ace Hardware.

Jackie may never go back to bottled orange juice again.
Her rating? "Two thumbs up."
