Swivel Sweeper G2

Katarina Williamson has a two year old son, so she is always chasing behind him with the broom and dust pan.  "Cookie, chips, everything possible it's on the floor," she said.  So anything to make her life easier sounds great to her.

The cordless Swivel Sweeper G2 says it can make cleaning up dirt and messes faster and easier. This is an updated model of the popular Swivel Sweeper that we reviewed several months ago. So we asked Katarina to see this model really is an improvement. Assembly was easy as A - B - C - D, just connect the letters on the parts.  It only took a couple of minutes and Katarina was ready to go.

The unit runs on a rechargeable battery pack that's supposed to last 45 minutes. It only weighs two pounds and swivels 360 degrees for easy maneuverability.   Katarina was pleased with how well the four brushes picked up the dirt.  "It's getting it up," she said.

One of the new features with the G2 model is the back saver elbow joint. With the press of a button the pole bends to make getting under furniture painless.   Katarina used it to clean under the entertainment center.  "I like it how far it goes because with a vacuum you could not do that," she said.

The Swivel Sweeper works on all types of floors including wood, tile and carpet.  "I actually liked it. I'm very impressed with it," she said.  "It picks up all the dust and all the little droppings."  When it's time to empty the sweeper, just hold it over the trash can and push the tabs - no need to handle the dirty catch tray.  "Very easy, very simple, press a button and all done," Katarina said.  Then just set the sweeper on the floor to close the trap.

Light weight, easy to use, easy to clean.  Katarina loved it.  "For the Swivel Sweeper G2, I give it two thumbs up."
