Ross is one half of 11Alive's CIA (Center for Investigative Action) team. Ross is well known for working hard to find solutions for our viewers.

Ross's career in media began in Radio in Canada in 1980. He made the move to TV in 1985 and spent the next 10 years at Global TV in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. He then moved to the United States and KIRO TV in Seattle where he first worked with Shawn Hoder, his CIA team partner. Ross garnered the national spotlight as a reporter for Celebrity Justice before he made the move to WJLA in Washington, DC where he and Shawn were able to re-launch their investigative franchise.

Ross was nationally-recognized as the "Troubleshooter" in Canada, before moving to the United States in 1996. He has earned a number of awards including four Edward R. Murrow awards for his investigations. He has also received top honors from the National Association of Consumer Advocates for an undercover video expose on odometer rollbacks in the used car industry. He has 17 Emmy Awards, several Best of the West awards, and recognition from the Society of Professional Journalists. Many of these awards are shared with his investigative partner, Shawn Hoder.

Ross attended Royal Roads Military College and studied broadcast journalism at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
