LOGANVILLE, Ga. -- How do you honor a fallen hero?
In the city of Loganville, hundreds turned out Tuesday to honor Major Walter David Gray. People lined Highway 78 Tuesday afternoon, dotting the streets with red, white and blue as Major Gray's processional passed through town.

The air liaison officer was killed by a suicide bomber earlier this month in Afghanistan. Major Gray, a 38-year-old father of three, was born and raised in Loganville, enlisting in the Air Force soon after graduating from Loganville High School.
Major Gray served nearly 20 years in the Air Force. He will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
